ANTOA Participates in Coimbatore Luxury Travel Show, Promotes Andaman Tourism

The Andaman and Nicobar Tour Operator Association (ANTOA) took part in the Coimbatore Luxury Travel Show (TAAC), a prestigious event organized by the Travel Agents Association of Coimbatore (TAAC) at Hotel Le Meridien. The event, held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, was graced by the presence of the Honorable Tamil Nadu Minister of Tourism, K. Ramachandran, alongside other prominent tourism stakeholders, including Ashok Kumar, Secretary of ADTOI, and Balu Nalappan, President of TAAC.

ANTOA members, led by President Simson, along with Sujoy Sarkar, Chotu Baraik, and Rajiv Kumar, actively promoted Andaman Tourism during the event. The association’s participation aimed to highlight the unique travel experiences and attractions available in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, fostering greater interest among national and international tourism stakeholders.

During the event, Honorable Minister K. Ramachandran personally met with the Andaman tour operators, praised their efforts in promoting the islands, and expressed his intention to visit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the near future. His support underscores the growing recognition of the Andaman Islands as a premier luxury travel destination.

The Coimbatore Luxury Travel Show, a one-of-a-kind B2B event, was inaugurated by Minister Ramachandran on Saturday. Supported by the Union Ministry of Tourism and the Tamil Nadu Ministry of Tourism, the event featured over 70 luxury tourism exhibitors from around the world, including Destination Management Companies from the USA, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, Malaysia, Turkey, and more.

The event attracted 1000 visitors, including travel agents, tour operators, and buyers from across India and neighboring countries. Notable participants included popular airlines such as Scoot, Fly Dubai, Air India, Indigo, and Air Mauritius, as well as luxury cruise lines like Cordelia, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Royal Caribbean. Luxury caravan and boat operators, along with premium resort companies, also showcased their offerings.

ANTOA’s involvement in this luxury travel show represents a significant opportunity to enhance the visibility of Andaman Tourism on the global stage, paving the way for increased tourism and economic growth in the region.
