The Education Department Part-time Employees Union (CITU) welcomes the
decision of the Education Department to re-engage all the Part-time Pre-Primary
Teachers, Pre-Primary Ayahs, Craft Instructors, etc for the academic session 2024-25
following the approval conveyed by the Ministry of Education for continuation of
Temporary Plan and Non-Plan Posts in the Education Department. After the re-opening
of schools on 1 st July, 2024, the extension of the services of above categories of the
employees was not done by the Education Department pending approval from the
Government of India. The Education Department Part-time Employees Union has been
continuously pursuing this matter with the Education Department and A & N
Administration during the last more than two months.
