Port Blair, 17 August 2024:
In a heartfelt gesture to mark its 7th anniversary, the Andaman Nicobar Tour Operator Association (ANTOA) organized a special event at the Ferrargunj Old Age Home today. The event was aimed at honoring the elderly residents and spreading joy among the community.
During the program, the elderly residents were presented with gifts as a token of respect and appreciation. The event was not limited to the elderly alone; differently-abled children, orphans, and other underprivileged children were also included in the celebrations, receiving gifts from the association.
The President of the Andaman Nicobar Tour Operator Association, Mr. Simson, along with the association’s members, participated in the event.
“This was a small effort by our organization to share our happiness and achievements with those in need,” said Mr. Simson. “We decided that instead of celebrating alone, we should bring joy to others by sharing our success with them.”
The association expressed its gratitude to the Social Welfare Department for providing the opportunity to conduct the event. They also thanked the officials and staff of the Ferrargunj Old Age Home for their cooperation and support.
“Our organization is committed to social work, and we are prepared to organize many more such events in the future,” added Mr. Simson, highlighting the association’s ongoing dedication to giving back to the community.
