The 1st International Conference on Computational Intelligence for Security, Communication and Sustainable Development being organized by DBRAIT in association with IEEE Computer Society (CPS) got underway today in the conference hall of DBRAIT here. Prof. K. K. Aggarwal, President of South Asian University (a university established by SAARC nations) and Ex-Chairman National Board of Accreditation GoI, inaugurated the two day conference as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. K. K. Aggarwal congratulated the DBRAIT team for putting sincere effort in organizing the conference in such a scale. He also highlighted the significance of AI and the need for sustainable development for developing nations with the pressing need to take risks to achieve success in one’s career. Prof. Aggarwal’s talk sparked curiosity and interest among the audience, inspiring the next generation to instill inquisitiveness in the minds of young researchers and innovators.
Shri L. Kumar, IAS, Secretary (Higher Education), A&N Administration was the Chief Patron of the inaugural ceremony. In his address, the Secretary (HE) complimented the organizing team and urged the participants to take full advantage of the research findings and work collaboratively towards sustainable development.
The Director, NITPY, Prof. (Dr). Makarand Madhao Ghangrekar as guest of honour delivered a comprehensive talk on sustainable development, covering AI applications in resource management, environmental monitoring, waste management, climate modeling, renewable energy, agriculture, optimizing urban infrastructure, healthcare, urban flooding, and conservation.
Dr. Om Pal, Associate Professor, University of Delhi, in his presentation, emphasized on groundbreaking researches on Quantum Computing and also stressed upon the nature inspired technology advancements in his inaugural address.
Earlier, Dr. V. Alagusundaram, Principal (i/c), DBRAIT welcomed the gathering. Dr. Shoaib Kamal, Program chair gave the overview of the 2-day conference. The conference marked an overwhelming participation of academicians, researches and students both in online and offline mode. Dr. Shrabani Mallick, Organizing chair proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. S. Raji, Co-organizing chair coordinated the whole programme.
