Sri Vijaya Puram, 28 Jan 2025:
The Revenue Department of District South Andaman carried out spot inspection to
uncover that land development was being carried out by cutting and leveling of earth upon
land situated at Teyolarabad Village. 2 Excavators and 1 JCB were found at the site which
have been seized.
The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman has warned unscrupulous elements
involved in illegal extraction and violation of Andaman and Nicobar Islands Land Revenue
and Land Reforms Regulation 1996 to desist from indulging in such acts in future failing
which stern action would be taken against them.
